Our Team

 

Ray Dallavecchia III – Managing Partner

 

Ray is a Managing Partner and Founder of Venetian Associates where he is responsible for identifying and acquiring companies, directing strategic initiatives, and sourcing other investment opportunities.

 

Prior to founding Venetian Associates, Ray worked over 15 years for POOF®-Slinky®, Inc., the original manufacturer and distributor of POOF®, Slinky®, and Ideal® branded toys. His primary responsibility was to manage the sales force and directly work with many domestic and international retailers including Walmart, Disney, Barnes & Noble, Safeway, and Menard’s. While at the company Ray gained valuable experience in corporate development, manufacturing, and operations.

Ray Dallavecchia, Jr. - Partner


Ray was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of POOF®-Slinky®, Inc. and a Certified Public Accountant. He and Mr. Ferner built POOF®-Slinky® into a leading U.S. toy manufacturer with global distribution. Mr. Dallavecchia holds a BA in accounting from Michigan State University. Gregory L. Fike - Partner/CFO


Greg is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Venetian Associates.


Prior to joining Venetian Associates, Greg was Vice President and CFO of Poof-Slinky, Inc. and was responsible for all accounting, reporting, tax, insurance, employee benefit and information technology matters.

Tim W. Turner - Partner


Tim brings to Venetian Associates experience in marketing, sales and sales management.

 

Prior to Venetian Associates, Tim was the Regional Sales Manager for Poof-Slinky, Inc. with management responsibilities over major retailers located primarily in the western half of the country.  He also managed CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Kroger, SuperValu and Amazon.com.

 

He is a founder and President of AdWings Media, LLC - a digital signage advertising and equipment sales company in Michigan.

 

Tim was also a founder and President of ECC Worldwide Express.  ECC was a multi-city overnight express consolidation company with offices in Chicago, Detroit, Houston and Dallas. At the same time, he was part owner and managing partner of Vision Media, an outdoor advertising company with 69 billboard faces in the Detroit Metro area.
